Nonprofit Day
Monday, October 19
San Diego Convention Center

DMA09 Nonprofit Day focuses on issues most important to nonprofit marketers. In addition to education sessions and the networking reception, attendees can walk the extensive exhibit hall floor. Separate registration is required to attend.

This year's sessions are:

Creating Loyalty Through Experience
11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

Creating a great customer experience isn’t just for big business. When you develop donor relationships through great experiences with your organization, you turn them into your most loyal fans. During this interactive panel, we will look at lessons to learn from several for-profit companies, including Nordstrom and Starbucks, and more importantly, we will show you how you can create an experience that will keep your new donors from becoming one-hit wonders, and your repeat donors from fading to black.

Speaker: Bridget Brandt, Customer Marketing Manager, Sage North America (Nonprofit Solutions)

Advanced Fundraising: What’s Next for Direct Marketing
3:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? Sometimes we get in the habit of using the sAMe marketing initiatives year after year. Although it is a good idea to stick with what works, sometimes venturing to new and uncharted waters can be the most beneficial. This session will discuss the future of direct marketing and fundraising, and will review current and future tools, and analyze their potential use in future fundraising efforts.

DMA Nonprofit Federation Reception
Monday, October 19
4:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This reception is a great opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues after an intense day of learning.

Please RSVP to Helen Lee at 202.861.2496 or email hlee@the-dma.org.
