Join Thanh Nguyen, Senior Usability Engineer at BusinessOnLine, as she delivers 2 information-packed sessions on website usability and the user-experience. This is an overview session which will help define user-experience and demonstrate how the user’s perspective should be taken into account when developing all the components of your site – from navigation, to image placement and calls-to-action. She will discuss the Top 10 elements affecting users’ website experience and conversions, and provide useful information on best-practices, minimum standards, and learned conventions in website usability. The session will conclude with a real world example. Thanh will select someone in the audience and perform a real-time usability assessment on their site.

1:1 Labs

Attendees may also still sit down with an expert for a 15-minute lab. These individual sessions are designed to give 1:1 time with a subject matter expert to discuss your individual website usability issues and provide you with a better understanding of the items which have the biggest impact on your ROI, as well as instructions on how best to improve these efforts. Labs run from 9:30am - 5:30pm, Monday, October 19, and are available by appointment only.
